The 17th Half Marathon of the Municipality of Castro Marim will take place on September 12, 2026, in Altura, Castro Marim. This running event includes a half marathon distance of 21.097 km and a minimarathon of 10.5 km, both held as night races starting at 20:00.

The race is open to federated, non-federated, and foreign athletes of both sexes, with age categories ranging from juniors to veterans. The half marathon consists of a 4-lap circuit, and the minimarathon consists of a 2-lap circuit, both on Avenida 24 de Junho in Altura.
