ESTRELA GRANDE TRAIL

The Ficalho Backyard Ultra is an ultra-distance running event taking place on May 9, 2026, in Vila Verde de Ficalho, Beja. The race consists of completing 6.706 km loops every hour, with the goal of completing as many loops as possible.

Open to runners aged 18 and over, the event challenges participants to endure multiple hours or even days, with a 75m elevation gain per loop. The winner is the last runner to complete a loop within the hour time limit.

This unique format tests endurance and strategy, creating a competitive and intense atmosphere where only the strongest prevail.

The Trilhos da Nexebra Trail – TNT® 2026 is a trail running event scheduled for May 9-10, 2026, in Ansião, Portugal. This event offers multiple distances, catering to various skill levels and preferences among trail runners.

Open to all participants without the need for a license, the trail features unique and scenic landscapes in the region, providing a challenging yet inspiring environment. The event atmosphere is vibrant and inclusive, designed to welcome both competitive runners and families.

The VII Edition of the 24 Hours Running Mem Martins – Sintra is a long-duration endurance running event that will take place on May 9 and 10, 2026, in Mem Martins, Sintra. The event features multiple race options including 24-hour, 12-hour, and 3-hour races, as well as a Night Marathon, all held on a certified closed-loop circuit of 1,609.34 meters.

Open to individual athletes and teams (for the 24-hour race), this competition welcomes both federated and non-federated runners aged 18 and above. The Passeio Da Espiga is a non-competitive sports event featuring mountain biking, walking, and trail running, taking place on May 10, 2026, in the town and parish of Mafra. The event offers two biking distances—approximately 20 km (easy) and 40 km (difficult)—and a walking route of about 13 km.

Open to all participants, both amateurs and professionals, including male and female athletes, and categories for conventional and electric bikes. The event promotes sport in a convivial and leisure environment, highlighting the unique characteristics of Mafra.

Participants will enjoy a well-marked course with mechanical assistance zones and refreshment points, plus a finisher medal and commemorative T-shirt for all.
