The Avenidas Novas Run 2025 will take place on September 14, 2025, in the heart of Lisbon, starting and finishing at Parque Eduardo VII. Organized by the Avenidas Novas Parish Council with technical management from WeRun, this urban running event is designed to promote physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and community spirit.<\/p>\n

The program features three main events catering to all ages and abilities: a 10 km competitive race for runners aiming for performance, a 5 km non-competitive walk for those looking to enjoy the city at a gentler pace, and a Kids Race that kicks off the day with energy and enthusiasm. The flat asphalt course winds through Lisbon\u2019s Avenidas Novas area, offering scenic views, hydration stations, and medical support along the way.<\/p>\n

Participants can expect a festive atmosphere with music, cheering supporters, and post-race celebrations. All finishers will receive a technical t-shirt, commemorative medal, and athlete kit, along with refreshments at the finish line.
