The 7th edition of Povoa\u00e7\u00e3o Trail is a trail-running event taking place on March 14, 2027, on the island of S\u00e3o Miguel, Portugal. It features five linear, non-stop races: Povoa\u00e7\u00e3o Ultra (50 km), Povoa\u00e7\u00e3o Trail (30 km), Povoa\u00e7\u00e3o Sprint (18 km), Mini Trail (9 km), and a 9 km Caminhada (walk).<\/p>\n

Minimum age is 16 for Mini Trail and 18 for other races. The event is organized by HL Runners Club in partnership with the Municipality of Povoa\u00e7\u00e3o and includes challenging elevation profiles, with the Ultra race having 3600 m positive elevation gain. The trails traverse forest paths, unpaved roads, and some asphalt, crossing public roads and private properties.<\/p>\n
