The Beer Run S\u00e3o Br\u00e1s de Alportel is a unique 1-mile running competition combined with beer drinking, taking place on August 15, 2026, at Parque da Amendoeiras in S\u00e3o Br\u00e1s de Alportel, Faro. The race starts at 20:30 and features individual and team relay formats.<\/p>\n

Participants must be over 18 years old and drink a full 33 cl beer before each 402 m lap, with strict disqualification rules for those unable to finish their beer. There is an option to participate with non-alcoholic beer, but this does not count for classification or prizes.<\/p>\n

The event has a festive and social atmosphere, with a maximum of 250 participants, and awards trophies and prizes to the top three male and female finishers as well as the winning relay team.<\/p>\n","organizer_description":"
