The UCVNF Cycling Training Championship is a cycling event for children aged 2 to 16, taking place from May to September 2026 in Jesufrei, Avidos, and Vila Nova de Famalic\u00e3o, Portugal. It features three races on different terrains: a mostly dirt BTT\/XCO circuit in Jesufrei, an asphalt road race in Avidos, and a mixed urban race in Vila Nova de Famalic\u00e3o’s Devesa park.<\/p>\n

The championship is open to all children who enjoy and can ride a bike, with categories from Sub-5 to Sub-17 based on age. It aims to promote cycling as a sport and healthy activity for young people, offering varied experiences across different terrains to develop skills and confidence.<\/p>\n

Each race awards medals to the top three boys and girls per category, with trophies for the top three overall scorers after all three races and participation diplomas for those completing the full championship.
