The 3rd Meia Maratona do Ameal takes place on September 27, 2026, in Coimbra, offering runners the opportunity to race on a fast and flat course designed for personal best performances.<\/p>\n

Certified by both the Portuguese Athletics Federation (FPA) and World Athletics, the event includes a Half Marathon, a 10.3 km race and a 10 km walk through the roads of Taveiro, Ameal and Arzila. With only 66 meters of elevation gain across the half marathon course, the route combines speed, accessibility and scenic countryside views.<\/p>\n

The event is part of the Circuito das Estrelas de Portugal and hosts the Coimbra District Half Marathon Championship (ADAC), attracting both competitive athletes and recreational participants.
