The IV Trilhos Castro de Santiago – Sunset Edition is a trail running event scheduled for July 11, 2026, in Figueir\u00f3 da Granja – Fornos de Algodres. It features a long trail of approximately 21 km with 850 meters of elevation gain, a short trail of about 14 km with 450 meters of elevation gain, a mini trail, and a recreational walk of around 10 km with 300 meters of elevation gain.<\/p>\n

This event is part of the Circuito de Trail da Beira Alta 2026 and serves as its fifth stage. The trails run predominantly through rural paths, dirt roads, and streams surrounding nearby villages, offering a natural and mountainous terrain.<\/p>\n

The long and short trails are open to all participants aged 18 and over, with or without federation affiliation, while the mini trail is open to participants aged 11 and above, who classify for the Circuito de Trail Jovem.
