The 5\u00aa L\u00e9gua da Praia do Osso da Baleia is a running race scheduled for July 19, 2026, held at Praia do Osso da Baleia, Portugal. This event is part of the Circuito Meio Fundo ADAL and features a variety of distances to accommodate different age groups and competitive levels, including a main 5 km legua (league) race, mini legs for younger participants, and a family walk.<\/p>\n

The race is open to all participants, whether affiliated with FPA, INATEL, or competing as popular runners either individually or in teams. The course is unique as it is entirely run on the beach sand, offering a scenic and challenging terrain. The event atmosphere is inclusive and family-friendly, with a schedule that includes children\u2019s races starting from 500 meters to 2 km, and a mass participation walk for all ages.<\/p>\n

In addition to individual competition, there is a team classification where the top three athletes from each team contribute to the team score, fostering a community spirit.
