Relay Format<\/strong>
The Open Race may be completed by teams of two or three athletes.<\/p>\nWith three athletes, each member completes one discipline. With two athletes, one team member completes two disciplines.<\/p>\n
Course Format<\/strong>
Swim \u2014 Out-and-back course in the Alqueva reservoir<\/p>\nBike \u2014 Predominantly flat asphalt out-and-back course with one steep climb<\/p>\n
Run \u2014 Multi-lap course through Moura, mainly on asphalt with a short cobbled section<\/p>\n
Drafting<\/strong>
Drafting is not permitted on the cycling course.<\/p>\nEligibility<\/strong>
T100 and Paratriathlon T100 \u2014 Athletes born in 2009 or earlier and licensed with the Portuguese Triathlon Federation<\/p>\nOpen Race \u2014 Athletes born in 2009 or earlier<\/p>\n
