It&#8217;s challenging enough to be meaningful, short enough to train for in 3\u20134 months, and long enough to feel like a real achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to train for your first triathlon<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You don&#8217;t need to be excellent at all three sports. You need to be competent at swimming, comfortable on a bike, and able to run 5km without stopping.
