Event summary
The São João Sunset Run 2025, organized by the Vila do Conde City Council and Associação de Atletismo Vilacondense, with the support of AEBA – Associação Empresarial do Baixo Ave, will take place on Friday, June 27, 2025, in Vila do Conde. The event celebrates AEBA’s 25th anniversary with a festive and inclusive atmosphere, welcoming runners of all ages and levels.
The event includes a 10 km and 5 km race, as well as a 5 km walk and multiple kids’ races by age group, promoting community involvement and a love for sport. The event has a solidarity component, donating €1 from every registration to one of five local institutions, chosen by participants during registration.
All distances start and finish at Nau in front of the Alfândega de Vila do Conde, with routes along the scenic riverside. Participants can expect a safe and well-marked course, enthusiastic support teams, and a lively sunset atmosphere by the sea.
